Made to order crepes and omelette with fruit, coffee and tea included in room price. Hosts were incredibly kind and English communication was good as the hostess is the village English teacher. She was cheery, personable, a wealth of knowledge (we had many questions) and our favorite host of the entire trip. The location is divine. Room has a small balcony and you are welcome to enjoy a glass of red or rice wine overlooking a terraced rice field. Area is quiet, magical and Pu Luong was our favorite place in northern Vietnam. We enjoyed hiking each day followed by a great affordable dinner (there is a menu with many choices) at the Homestay restaurant each night. Credit card accepted with a 3% fee which is typical around the country.

Solo traveler you must go and get lost in rice fields the owner will give you good advise to go, and for group travler he knows how to give the best experience of this place, I saw him bring people discover the best vue 1 day is not enough, is so much to see, I have been 2 days and I still feel I miss so much... Even if it was the best I saw in Vietnam so far 👌 Is also a English speaker with is not the case all around so he can help you to set up your visit

The location is great, walking distance from Hieu waterfall and along a beautiful, secluded road. You can rent bikes or motorbikes to go to nearby villages or just explore the area. Our host, Ta and his friends took us and the other guests on a motorbike and walking tour thru the villages, trails of beautiful farmland and to the bat caves, and cooked us a picnic lunch in the forest. We also celebrated Tet with rice wine and karaoke. The food was delicious, the beds and rooms were very comfortable and the whole place felt built with a lot of time and love. So glad we chose this homestay!!

The room is spacious and nicely decorated with a lovely balcony overlooking the rice paddies. We really enjoyed hiking all around this area, and relaxing by the pool.

The rooms are spacious, light-filled, spotless, very comfortable, and have stunning views across the terraced rice fields to the mountains beyond. The pool is gorgeous, so refreshing after a day out and about. Tom’s excursions are well thought out and really give you an insight into the rich culture and way of life in this valley. We went trekking through the jungle, saw a cathedral-like cave, visited a weaving village, water wheels, rice fields, and had the most amazing time swimming in the waterfalls. The service is excellent: relaxed and friendly but very caring. The food was excellent - the best we’ve had in our two week trip. Pu Luong Valley is a hidden gem, away from the tourist trail, and Tom’s place is perfect to experience this very special place.

Everything is neat and organized. Pleasant attitude from the staff. There is always someone to help. The pool is beautiful and at night there are colorful lights. The property is surrounded by nature, forests and rice fields. While we were there, there were two evenings of cultural performance and dancing and it was really lovely. We signed up for three tours through them and it was perfect. We enjoyed every moment.

The staff is very friendly and courteous, always attentive to make you feel wonderful. The location is absolutely magnificent, above rice fields, surrounded by jungle, with the mountains in the background, and far enough away from the town to make you feel isolated and surrounded by nature. The rooms are beautiful, the beds very comfortable, and the linens and pillows are top-quality. There's a huge yoga room, a pool with super-nice loungers, they help you organize all the activities in the area, and they arrange a driver for all transfers to and from the hotel, as well as for excursions. They offer massages, and the cuisine is spectacular. Without a doubt, this is a gem to recommend to lovers of tranquility and nature, without sacrificing an ounce of comfort. The hotel accommodates a maximum of 15 guests, ensuring a private and relaxed atmosphere. We were lucky enough to meet Lua, the owner, a very pleasant and attentive woman. We highly recommend the hotel.

It is so beautifully nestled in among the jungle, the pool was clean, dorm room beautiful and traditional, food was exceptional, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!!
