In addition to the beautiful facilities, we were absolutely blown away by the kindness and care shown to us by the staff, especially Than, who gave such generous and personal service. The food was delicious and often from their own surrounding garden, and when we wanted to explore the area, we were allowed to borrow their scooter or bikes free of charge, and helped to a route that best allowed us to see both culture and nature. For the first time on our trip, we were the only tourists when we went about, allowing us to see a genuinely local and authentic side of Vietnam. When we wanted to relax and cool down from the heat, the pool was dreamy, especially in the evening with a sunset view over the surrounding rice fields. The room was incredibly nice, it was totally clean and had everything we needed, as well as another gorgeous view from the patio. Continuing on the detailed and thoughtful service, Than kindly showed us different aspects of the local culture, arranging a performance by traditional Khmer dancers one evening, a sticky-rice cooking workshop another night, and even showing us pagodas and a local macapuno dessert. When we asked about day trips he gave us a range of possibilities and was ready to help with anything. Overall, everything was perfect and the people there were so so kind. We found it very difficult to leave and really hope to return one day. We would warmly recommend this to anyone looking who values beautiful nature, personal service, tasteful luxury and authentic, local experiences. Thank you, Thala <3

Book early, because there are only 7 rooms, and maybe because I arrived in the weekend, I got stuck with a triple room. It's located in town, close to a big supermarket, but a bit far from the bus station. It's easy to find, as it's signposted from the main road, down the alley ways. It's in a quiet area and it feels like you are on the country side, with palm trees and a cow grassing. The room was spotlessly clean, and had a table and chairs. I really liked the tiles everywhere, even on the walls, because they are so easy to keep clean. No window, but I don't mind as the air quality was very good with both Aircon and a fan. The wash basin was in the dry end of the bathroom. If it's 3 or 4 of you, then there is even a privacy curtain between the two double beds. The WiFi was excellent. There are some benches out front, but you don't really need outdoor sitting for what you might think you need them for here. Friendly staff, but almost no English spoken. Not really a problem though. I could have wished for bicycle hire, because Grab, which is meant to work here, doesn't! (No Grab bikes, No Grab cars), And the taxis on the street never stop for you.

The room was very clean and, with the AC, can be very cool and comfortable in the Vietnam day time heat. The hotel was also in a quiet part of the neighborhood, so there wasn't a lot of car or foot traffic in this area of Tra Vinh

The gardens were gorgeous and lush and the cafe next door with the Kafka library were so relaxing and awesome. We loved the food cooked for dinner and all the cute dogs and cats around. Very tranquil environment and very kind and hospitable hosts. We also loved using the free bikes.

Delightful lodge overlooking a clean pond with water lilies. The owners were charming and helpful. Lovely bike rides through unspoiled countryside and villages. We got to Tra Vinh where there are some spectacular Khymer temples.
