The location was easy to find. The apartment is spacious and truly feels like home. It is in a quiet street. The kitchen had basic beverage stuff like tea, sugar and coffee. I was welcome with some Kit-kat.

Let me start with the host, the love we got before getting to the place, she called to check up on us since the roads are under construction, told to drive safe. When we got there she welcomed us with warm hugs. The rooms were VERY clean, smelling fresh, everything was a wow. The yard is clean well taken care off. Pool was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay it was even hard to say bye the way we were so comfortable.

The unit was well-spaced from other units. It was well built of concrete, tastefully furnished and supplied with high quality sheets and towels. The kitchen was generously provisioned with a multi-function oven, gas oven, and plenty of crockery and cookware, towels and rubbish bags. There was an outside under-cover dining/lounge room with a brai and spa. There were 2 large bedrooms with lockable connecting door. Contact with our hosts was virtual, but they responded quickly and were helpful. There was plenty of opportunity to spot animals from the house and on walks in the neighbourhood.

The staff has been exceptional and well trained, super helpful and friendly. A proper warm South African welcome. The food (almost too much of it) the heated pool, the spa, the drinks on the deck, the game drives, the views, rooms are super clean and fresh towels whenever you need. There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The accommodation and amenities was of a very high standard and we had an extremely comfortable and memorable stay! I would highly recommend this lodge!
