Everything. Location. Facilities. Staff. Wish we could stay longer. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. We were allowed to leave the car and suitcases after checkout. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you would need in a kitchen, Nespresso machine, even a Weber BBQ. It was nicely decorated going the extra mile to make it cosy. A gem.

The hotel is great. It absolutely exceeded my expectations. There is a nice restaurant on the 9th floor (reservations are a must). Very nice breakfast/brunch canteen as well (open in the evening as well). There is a small drink/food shop as well. The view from the top of the hotel is gorgeous - make sure even if it is not pool season to go and take a look at Lion's head. Totally recommend. For Cape Town it is essential to have all these at hand without the need to walk out at evening. Area was okay but still Cape Town for me is not really a place for evening stroll. During the day - it is close to the beach and Beach road with a lot of people, bars, etc.

We could see the ocean and the mountains! The rooms were large and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had! And the staff went over and above to help make everything comfortable and go smoothly! THE BEST!!

Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. Breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed every moment of it and the scones are the best! The staffs are lovely and friendly.
