Great location, supernice host, great view (Bellview), kitchen included, apartment looked fairly new. Spacious, 3 km to the castle, that you can see out of the window, the main street with bars right around the corner. Aircon included. Apartment was spacious, so was the bathroom. All was clean.

Vera and Nikola are some of the best human beings on earth. please do yourself a favor and book here without hesitation. they prepared breakfast for us, they offered to do our laundry, they invited us to sit down with them and try their homemade rakia. they showed us their property where they plant grapes for wine and rakia, tomatoes, peppers and even tobacco!

The family of this place is just amazing! Very kind, very willing to help and their meals are seriously the best I ever had in a guesthouse! When arriving in Theth, be aware that you can reach the place only on foot or by car if you have a 4x4. There is free parking down the mountain and the family is very willing to pick you up with their 4x4. It is doable to walk, but it will be 30 minutes of climbing. The food is really fantastic and the portions are big. Calories you need for a long hike! As a vegetarian, it can be quite challenging to have a proper meal in Albania. Everything that Shkambi serves is home made (even their raki), very tasteful and prepared with great care! Breakfast is included, but you should definitely have dinner there too (it's an additional 15 euro's, but worth every cent). You can pay an additional 5 euro if you want some meat with it. I was here in September and the weather conditions were relatively rainy and cold. During the evenings we were welcome in their living room, where there is a cozy fireplace that kept us warm. And don't forget to ask if they can teach you some traditional Albanian dancing :-)

Hard to shower without a curtain. The host was just beautiful!!! They did'nt speak English which is a little bit of a hazard. The breakfast was rather simple, but I did'nt expect much since it was so cheap. The landlady gave us some fruits from the garden, which was just great!!
