Great location, just 3 minutes walk from the Alpnachstad train station. Easy to travel to Luzern and nearly places. Also a stone throw's away from the cogwheel train going up to Mount Pilatus. The neighbourhood is quite and safe. The size of the apartment is just right for a family of 3 or 4. One double bed in each of the two bedrooms. Comfy beds. We didn't have time to cook meals but the kitchen is well equipped. Toilet is spotless and sufficient towels provided. And thanks to the owner who provided milk, fruit juice, cheese and bread free of charge. It's great to have a late night snack when we got back to the apartment.

The location is very pleasant and very good for families. Host Sarah is always available whenever required. Very clear instructions and they are the best.

I love the fact that this stay is just in front of the bus stop so it is really easy for you to commute. Th view from the stay is also amazing. Everything is well-equipped. It has elevator from the ground floor to the other floors which eases the check-in process and is suitable for wheelchair.

Clean; views are spectacular; parking/amenities available althought you need to go out in the night to an outhouse for wc and shower.... with lots of cowebs if you like that. The sleeping area was clean. Very rustic if you like that. And being awaken by animals at crack of dawn.

I went in Oct and trip advisor suggested I was taking a risk as weather could be bad. I wanted to experience being above the clouds and or view of town from the mountain. I took the risk and it totally paid off. The view of mountain peaks sticking up in blanket of clouds was amazing. Although, you can do a day trip but you would miss the sunrise and sunset experience from the top. The dinner as well as the view from my room was amazing as well.

The view from the room and around the hotel area is just stunning. Easy hiking to be done for more scenery views, weather is important, if it’s cloudy then you can’t see anything down. Dinner is 4 course meal, fantastic food on a high level.

location was perfect 8 minutes to lucerne but taxi so i really recommend you stay here in this epic view day and night warm atmosphere and you can enjoy lucerne city by day plan this to ur trip guys you don’t want to miss this amazing hotel

I like the stuff they were kind , the relaxing atmosphere it was amazing.

The host was kind and helpful. The house is in a quiet place, a bit far from the city. The trip is nice if you want to see Swiss villages and learn more about them. The house is old but we were comfortable. There was a radiator for heating, and the blankets were very good. The bathroom was also good. There was even a toaster in the kitchen.

I liked everything about this hotel. The location feels like a quiet upscale neighborhood, with beautiful private homes, 10 minutes from Lucerne. The bus stop is right outside the front door of the hotel and we never waited more than a few minutes for a bus either to Lucerne or to our trip to Mount Pilatus. The hotel provides free bus travel everywhere in the area. The grounds of the hotel are just perfect with its own little private beach for swimming in the lake, lots of cute little spots around the hotel to find a corner to yourself even when the hotel is full, and a beautiful restaurant overlooking the water. Our room was clean with a view of the lake. My favorite thing though was the staff. Every time I thought I had everything all planned out with AI, turns out the smart ladies at the counter always showed me a way to do it faster and cheaper. They helped plan our further travels when we left, even printing out all the connecting trains I would need and the times. They were amazing! Personally, I don't know why anyone would prefer to be in the town and just look at more shops, watches and bags when you can have this beautiful relaxing time on the lake.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent restaurant. Big room, comfortable beds, great bathroom. Perfect choice for visiting the region and avoiding the extremely expensive and crowded Lucerne.
