It was cozy and clean, with great attention to both detail and quality. We also appreciated the welcome gift (a book), the libraries and book-filled dining room - and, of course, the Giacometti downstairs and photographs throughout the pension. The restaurant was also excellent in terms of the dishes and personable service.

OMG, the STAFF is what makes Hotel Conrad stand out above all! Located in the original old town of Scuol Hotel Conrad is so quaint and centralized. There was the Church steeple, original 17th century buildings and the mountains with gondola from our balcony. Our Swiss decorated room (with Swiss cleanliness standards) had a small kitchen great for a light dinner, tea, and wine! The Conrad restaurant was open all day with a creative Chef. Breakfast (included) was amazing with as much wonderfully individualized prepared coffee.The ample buffet included freshly baked bread and sweets from their kitchen. Meats, local cheeses and yogurt, juices-this was by far our best breakfast throughout this 6 weeks in Europe.Hotel Conrad provided free regional bus and train passes. We could walk everyone, day hikes, or go to the 5* spa/mineral baths. The city bus was only a few cobblestone streets away and took it to smaller villages, plus the train to St. Moritz for a day with this pass. We travel at least 6 weeks annually since our first trip to Switzerland in 1972. Hotel Scuol is great for families, couples, and individuals. We met travelers from Switzerland, and France. The staff takes care of you as if you were special family guests. They speak to you kindly in your first language. They (Matilde!)remember your special decaf coffee orders and share their local knowledge. Have and will continue to sing their praises. They are few places in our lives that folks remember you and your needs.

Daniel, the hotel manager, was a fabulous host throughout our stay. He upgraded our room since the hotel was not busy. He took the time to give us personal insight into hikes in the area. He educated us about the regional food specialties on the menu. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was outstanding and the service stellar. Villa Post is in a terrific location for hiking in the region, and your stay includes a free pass for the public transport system, including gondolas. Breakfast included a wide variety of items in a gorgeous room.

Amazing location, welcoming staff, beautiful building, brand new SPA and pool. We booked an extra night just to explore the Inn valley, and stay in this wonderful hotel. We even had a chance to see a beautiful performance from a Tyva folk band right in the hotel lobby.
