Everything was nice ! Nina welcomed us as every hostel should welcome their guest . She also answered all our questions during our stay. All the staff member were awesome . Hostal was clean and easy to access with moto taxi . The view was amazing . Would highly recommend

El Santuario was the perfect home base for exploring Minca! Nora and José Luis have obviously put a lot of love into their hotel- they were exceptionally kind and provided us with everything we needed during our stay. We split three rooms between 5 friends, which was totally comfortable for us. We started every morning taking in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious home cooked breakfast- the birdwatching is unparalleled to any place I’ve visited before! It’s a quick 10 minute drive to the center of Minca- we had a car, but the hotel will happily arrange a mototaxi for you, which I took advantage of as i chose to stay an extra night after my travel mates departed. We ended our evenings using the ample common areas to sip tequila and reflect on our adventures. The evenings were cool enough that we wouldn’t have used a/c even if it was available. Of course there are some bugs, but what else would you expect staying in a rustic town in the middle of the jungle?? Other reviewers noting this as a con are obviously unused to accommodations that strive to be as ecologically mindful as possible to their natural environments. Thank you José Luis and Nora for everything! Much love to you and your beautiful family. We can’t wait to return <3

It was all very elegant and luxurious place and we enjoyed staying at Terramia Estate a lot. Exellent quality. Plus stunning views, lots of birds and very quiet and romantic. Hot water in bathroom. Comfortable big bed with very soft linen. Definitely worth the price.

It's a fantastic place to stay in Minca. The house is clean and well-equipped with big rooms including a laundry. The location is perfect as it's just on the edge of the small town so a bit quieter but still close to everything. Morgan is a super friendly guy, interesting to chat with, and very attentive to anything you might need.

The staff from arrival were exceptionally kind. From the smilling jolly Janina, (in the shop) who help with extra nights stay. The grandmother who did some washing at modest cost and the young grandson who opened the main door, when we were slow with the key. You could make your own breakfast, and constant coffee avalible all day. Relaxed atmosphere with cats and a dog.

This little gem was such a lovely place to stay. The staff are amazing, the room was comfy, big and generally lovely, the courtyard was really nice to chill in of an evening with a lovely outdoor cooking area. To top it all off the dogs and cats are amazing and super friendly. They let us check in early which was a bonus. Right in the centre of town so you have everything at your feet. Once the pool is complete it will be absolutely perfect. Nice little shop right outside as well.

We loved the views. It was really comfortable and clean. I also enjoyed petting the cats! In the morning we saw two toucans from the terrace, just magical !!

Friendly staff, clean room, excellent kitchen, big patio, nice to have cats and a dog around. The room had a refrigerator and we had two fans. There was no noise.

The location is great, and all the staff is super friendly. There are 3 cats and a dog on the facilities, and they are the greatest!! Small shared kitchen, but well equipped. You can save some money by cooking there
