Amazing property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

The couple who have recently acquired this property, Karla & Kenneth, are absolutely lovely. They show true Costa Rican hospitality & I feel we have made true friends here. Their property is an oasis of flora & fauna in very busy city, & is very charming & convenient to many services including the airport. Also Uber here is very affordable & is a nice way to get around or order food delivered. The breakfast was very good & plentiful, the breezes cool & refreshing in a comfy open air house; a great example of CR lifestyle. Room tip: the Royal King room is huge with it's own access to the rooftop lounge area great for watching wildlife
