The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming. They asked via Booking messaging if we would need an evening meal and if so did we have food allergies. Shortly after arrival we were presented with a delicious 3 course home cooked meal. They also booked a taxi at 5am and one of owners was up to ensure alll went well .

We loved our stay at The Holiday Inn, Quito. We wish it had been longer to make use if the lovely warm pool. The bed was so comfortable with beautiful bed linen. Food was ezcellent too. A big hug goes to the hotel dog! Thank you.

The surrounding area is gorgeous, our host showed us his beautiful garden and farm with views of Cotopaxi. The 3 dogs are very cute. Our host was fantastic also, couldn’t have been more accommodating and made us feel so welcome. He made us breakfast and even made us a packed meal for the airport as it was early. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Too often places on this site score a 9 and barely warrant a 7! This is a solid 10, and deservedly so. As comfortable and cozy a small hotel as you’re likely to find. Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul de sac in a well served neighborhood, it instills calm as soon as you enter the gate. The building has a spacious, welcoming feel. The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean. There is a wonderful sitting room to sit and read and a glasshouse dinning room in which to eat at your leisure the delicious breakfast, surrounded by greenery. The owner and her staff were top notch. As were the dogs. I think I’ve made my point. I wish I’d stayed longer!

We stayed in this hotel twice — on our way to and from the Galapagos. Both stays were great. We loved the complimentary airport pickup and airport dropoff, we used the gym on both occasions and the pool area. The animals on the property are adorable!!! Baby llama, baby ducklings and two cuddly cats. Also their breakfast buffet was the best we had in the entire 3 week vacation. Their restaurant serves delicious food as well. We loved the shrimp pasta. On our second stay, we booked a 60-min massage per person and I can only recommend this before a 10-hour flight. Lastly, we left our hiking and cold weather stuff there for two weeks which really helped with our baggage weight management in the Galapagos transfers. This was super appreciated!

What an unexpected beauty of a hotel. The grounds and buildings were picturesque. The whole place was spotlessly clean inside and outside areas. Bedroom was fantastic. Kitchen/dining in a separate building, short 30meter walk and if you get lost you can ask the cat, dog, guinea pigs, rabbits, ponies, llamas and alpacas for directions. Food was great as was the service. Less than 10 minutes to the terminal building so ideal if you have an early or late flight. Didn’t use the pool or the tennis courts but they looked good. Would have been nice to stay longer.
