Beautiful old pub with lovely hosts. The room was bright, comfortable.and very quiet.The bar, although not open yet (plans are to open soon) has character and is cosy , we were lucky enough to sit by the fire. The owners are very welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast was a fantastic with a variety of options. A perfect spot to stay not far off the highway. A must are Kathy’s Ecclefechan tarts!

A beautiful old house done up very tastefully. Lots of lovely personal touches, smelt beautiful, homely decorated with chocolates and biscuits on arrival. The kitchen had lots of food supplies as well as fresh milk and eggs in the fridge! Plus the best Chinese food we have had in a long time about a 50 metre walk....
