Perfect quiet location on a country road. Good detailed instructions from host. Keys in door on arrival - really helpful! Superking bed was very comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous. We stayed to attend a wedding nearby so it was ideal for our needs. Lovely and clean and warm. Beautiful spot in the woods.

Honestly, I cannot recommend this more - I had the absolute best stay this weekend at The Fox! The staff was insanely kind and helpful, the room and facilities were on par with what I expected - if not better - and the cleanliness and comfort of the room made me feel so relaxed. I enjoyed this stay so much and would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families alike! The restaurant & bar is the cherry on top, where I was able to have a delicious British Sunday roast :)

A beautiful place to stay, warm, cosy and welcoming. Everything you could need for a perfect stay. The room was clean, bright and warm. The bed and pillows were so comfy I slept really well. Maire was fantastic. She is super friendly and couldn’t have done more for me. Nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly be back when next in Royston.

We were able to access the flat easily as the host had sent a picture of where to find the key plus a code. Everything inside met/exceeded our expectation for one night and would be great for a longer stay. I don't normally book a place with no reviews but this turned out very well, thank you Max our host who answered any queries promptly. Londis is very close for easy supplies. The was a huge stairwell for storing our bikes as we were cycling the Icknield Way.
