We spent a night in this lovely place for the second time, and we would choose it again in the future. The house is very nice the rooms are smaller but very comfortable and cosy. Although the accommodation had different owners a few years ago, the new owners are also amiable and helpful. It is a charming traditional place to stay in the middle of Dartmoor.

I had a great overnight stay at the East Dart Inn. Travelling across the fog-bound Moor and arriving at this ancient coaching inn was a real delight. The (reasonably new) owner and the staff were all very helpful in catering for my dietary needs - nothing was too much trouble. The bar where I had dinner was beautifully decorated for Hallow'een, adding to the atmosphere. Again, my gluten free requirements were well catered for at breakfast the next morning. The surrounding moorlands are breathtaking - all in all, a terrific stay.
