The reception, bar and restaurant services are very welcoming. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and clean. The staff is very friendly, polite and curteuos.

Loved the home, it was perfect size for a longer stay, had all the amenities needed. The hosts were fantastic (see my other reviews) and we would definitely stay there again without hesitation!

The staff were so friendly, efficient and helpful. While making my booking, I enquired if I could have access to an iron during my stay and I was very impressed to find an ironing board and iron in our room upon check-in! The breakfasts were fabulous! I highly recommend The Fox - a little gem in the Willian countryside! Thank you to everyone there!

After reading the reviews during my stay, I was so glad I didn't read them before staying. Yes there is need of a lick of paint etc but it's over 300 hundred years old. If you want modern then stay at your Travelodge/ Premier Inn etc This hotel has character, it's clean and comfy and the situation is perfect, right in the middle of Hitchin. The staff are helpful and lovely and I will be returning. It was also -1° when I stayed and the hotel was lovely and warm.
