This place is a Gem. Off the beaten track BUT WOW. Our hosts, Massimo and Siobhan were exceptional. Dinner was prepared by Massimo, an Italian Chef - best meal we had on our 5 week holiday. We only wish we stayed longer Thankyou guys, and make sure you look us up if you come to AUS

The most well equipped airbnb I have ever stayed at. Perfect authentic and antique vibes, super nice sleepy village, gorgeous views and hiking trails. The host was very attentive and made sure the stay was perfect. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the nature. There was even room for parking in the garden, lovely balcony for sitting outside and the sun lounger. I loved every minute there.

We are on a trip staying at some of the world's best hotels and this gem stands proudly up there with them. The panoramic view from our suite was breathtaking. The location - just a five minute walk into wonderful and unspoilt Rapallo, was perfect. The indoor pool, spa and outdoor pool all amazing. Breakfast was also superb. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The hotel is grand and traditional in style but is quietly modern in function. We had a full sized harp in our room and there was even a room service menu for dogs and cats! Our plan had been to stay in Portofino but we rolled the dice on the Excelsior Palace and Rapallo and are so glad we did. It is unique, characterful and charming.
