So we were driving down from Milan to Nice and looked for an overnight stay hoping not to land in another villa-whatever kind of boring hotel and we discovered a gem! We were offered a clean and spacious room with a seaview, way better than what you expect from a 3-star hotel. We couldn't resist staying a couple more nights as it is an absolute joy of a place. The team is super friendly and helpful in each and every aspect. They are truly a pleasure to speak with, and everyone helped us with every minor ask we had. And yeah, his Majesty The Breakfast! It is a golden standart of what a hotel in a small town could offer - crispy croissants with vanilla cream, a decent choice of meat and cheese, freshly prepared scrambled egs, very good coffee to name a few things we loved here.

Genoa's Hotel Fiume is 50 metres from the main street, Via XX Settembre, a 3-minute walk from Genova Brignole Train Station, and a 15-minute walk from the historic centre and the Aquarium.

This hotel was such a nice surprise! I only regret that I didn’t book two nights here, overly cautious from bad experience with other properties. The location is perfect - so near the main train station and a short walk from the center. The room was so clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very attentive and actually at the reception for check in and consult at any hour, something that is becoming more and more rare in hotels in Italy. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Genova.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location once you are settled in (though you have to walk about 10 min with luggage from the train station or parking outside the city center but that will be the case for most properties/hotels in the old town closed to traffic). You can also grab a cab to bring you closer but we just walked. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast options and the terrace on the 4th floor was a lovely addition. Would definitely book again!
