The host, Thomas, was very welcoming and treated us with coffee from the beans he roasts himself. The nature around was spectacular, with a few gorgeous hikes nearby and the possibility to take the famous Flåm railway with just a 15-minute train ride. There were also three friendly dogs who live in the lodge who we definitely enjoyed petting. The dinners were pricey but are absolutely worth it—amazing homemade food. However, there's also a kitchen and a fridge that visitors can use. Overall, we had a fantastic and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back!

After dinner in house (highly recommended) we were treated by our host to sample some of the local apple cider and a history of the guesthouse.
