The location was superb. Very short walk to a beach. Hosts were very friendly - allowed us to leave our car parked past check out so that we could walk to Cathedral Cove. Very quiet.

Tairua Tides was a lovely, large home that was very clean and comfortable. Lea, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. The location was central to the town and we were able to walk to restaurants and stores. It was a great place to stay in Tairua.

Amazing house. It was a delight for our family to spend time in this place. Obviously a very well lived house in all the right ways. Beach at the end of the street, one of the best cafes we found in all NZ just around the corner. Breathtaking scenery around the area and a cozy open fireplace to come home and sit around discussing plans for the next day's activities. Our family fell in love with the property. This place was well named, a true oasis! A million dollar view from the deck that completely relaxed us. We didn't want to leave! I really loved the family photos and the furnishings that documented the loving history of this house so well. The scenic walkway to the beach was an adventure in itself, if a bit longer than we anticipated, and the climb back up to the house left us winded. Nonetheless, we did it three times in our short stay!
