We loved our time at the Oman desert camp. Our only complaint is that it was too short, but that was our own doing. Hosts were very kind and welcoming. We opted to stay in the tents for a more authentic experience; they were very comfortable. The meals were plentiful, especially dinner. Would recommend the nighttime stargazing camel ride and the 3-hour quad experience. The camp owner led us on an exhilarating adventure. It was the highlight of our 2 week trip across the Middle East.

This villa is the nicest place to stay in the area. Instead of staying in a tent camp in the desert, stay here with comfortable beds, a pool and Air Conditioning but still be steps away from the desert and do day excursions into the desert. Mohammed arranged all of our desert excursions at a better price than we would pay anywhere else. Mohammed was the best host. He invited us into his home for coffee and told us where to go experience the beginning of Eid. He provided us with breakfast and dinner daily that was delicious. We could not have had a better experience. Staying in this villa was the highlight of our trip to Oman!

Just on begining of desert, peacful,comfort

Very clean and modern house at the entrance of the desert. Beautiful view from the house on the dunes. Dinner was good as well as breakfast. Thank you to Osamah the house manager and Muhamad for the great tour in desert.

“Presidential Suite“ is very modern and in very good condition. Beautiful and relaxing interior. Very good value for money. Host is absolutely fantastic and very welcoming. Invitation to campfire in the desert with info about Omani heritage, superb! Private pool adds a very nice touch and makes it easy to get rid of excess sand after visiting the desert. Easy to get to with 2WD car. Great tasty and local food delivered straight to the room!

Safe and sound for familes and for solo travelers aswell

We weren't really sure what to expect going into the desert, we would have been happy just to have a comfy bed. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations: the staff was great, the buffets for breakfast and dinner we're fantastic, and the complimentary activities we're really appreciated (sunset drive up the dunes and a quick 15min camel ride). The lamb was insane.

The place was great in every way. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect in every possible way. Mr Saud and his stuff are wonderful, the facilities, beds are amazing. Dinner and breakfast great. The location is perfect , you feel alone and no other camps in site, extremely private and cozy. Fantastic!

Our stay at Layali couldn’t have been better thanks to Loay and the whole team. They do everything they can to make you feel welcome. We stayed two nights and had the best time. You can choose from a variety of activities. After dinner there is a campfire. There is the greatest sunset right behind the tent. And once again, the team there is the best!
