Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Bantayan Island

It’s simple as the local folks of the island! The place is so quiet and near to some hang outs or a walk in the night along the coast of the beaches! The apartment is simple but very clean and quiet in the night. Jane the hotel/apartment manager is exceptionally hospitable and very helpful all her recommendations for panoramic sightseeing and for the beaches around to visit were all worth to see! An awesome experienced in the island and we will definitely be back and stay here again! Ferdinand and friends

Good location. It’s quite place, but no far from the beach, supermarkets and restaurants. Very nice and helpful staff. Big and clean appartment with good beds. Showers have good water pressure.

The hostel owner guided me, and she's very accommodating in all my inquiries. I got clear directions on how to get there, and the best thing that I like is the owner upgraded my room accommodation without extra charges. The place is so peaceful during the night, away from noises. The location is very close to cheap restaurants, and atm machine is accessible, which is just 2 blocks walking distance, with 2 ATM machines to choose. Two hundred meters away, you'll find the Kota Beach. The location is near from the seaport about 5 minutes via tricycle with a fare of Php30.00. Tell the driver to drop you at the Goldilocks. So far, in Bantayan Island rates, I got the cheapest rate for my hostel accommodation. Thank you to the caretaker who's very friendly

Excellent little budget hostel in the heart of Sante Fe and a 5 minute walk to beach. When we stayed, everything was very clean and comfortable. The main shared toilet always had toilet paper, soap and even shampoo! We paid extra for an AC room which was worth it as it was super strong. They had a free hot/cold drinking water dispenser, large kitchen with gas cooker & microwave. All the staff were really happy and friendly, it was very enjoyable eating breakfast every day and the staff even let us do some laundry. We also, rented a motorcycle at a super good rate of 350 pesos a day with helmets.

Truly a home away from home. All you really need to bring are your clothes and some raw ingredients, the rest is already taken care of. The house features three spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, and clean, well-maintained comfort rooms complete with a bidet, which is always a big plus. For freelancers like me, the reliable internet connection was a lifesaver. I could work comfortably without worrying about losing connection, a rare gem when you're on an island escape! If you’re in the mood to stay in, Isla Vida also offers cinematic-style entertainment with a projector and tons of movies, perfect for cozy nights when you don’t feel like going out. But when you do want to explore, everything is conveniently close. Kota Beach is just a short walk away, and Camp Sawi is only a few minutes’ drive. The amazing hosts, Jean and Alex, can even help you arrange motorbike rentals and give you great tips about the island. And of course, you’ll instantly fall in love with Max, their sweet and friendly dog who adds to the welcoming, homey vibe of the place. Isla Vida is the perfect blend of luxury, convenience, comfort, and island life. With hands-on hosts and a space that feels like your own, it’s an experience you’ll want to relive again and again. Highly recommended!

Peaceful area, spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. Really nice owner. We ended up extending 4 more nights.

Their home is spacious, clean and is just what we were looking for. Good for groups and if you have your own transportation so you can get around the island easily. They rent out motorbike and tricycle as well. Neighbors are friendly. We enjoyed buying fish from fishermen in the morning. Host is accomodating and ensured our stay was comfortable. :)

Place is new and located in calm area of the island, but close to the city. The room was spacious and the best part was terrace with the sea view. There was a kitchen to prepare some basic meal. The caretakers were around everyday and were helpful. Highly recommended!
