Our two-week honeymoon at Ocean Terrace Hotel was nothing short of perfect — a genuine 10/10 experience from start to finish. Nestled in an exclusive location with breathtaking views of the sea, the hotel offers a wonderfully calm and serene atmosphere, surrounded by a beautiful garden. While the journey to the hotel is a bit of an adventure due to a steep access road, the tranquility and natural beauty upon arrival more than make up for it. What truly sets Ocean Terrace apart is the exceptional warmth and friendliness of the staff, starting with the remarkable Manager, Kereck. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests is unparalleled. Beyond excellent hospitality, Kereck’s deep knowledge of the island’s history, flora, fauna, and especially its incredible birdlife, enriched our stay immensely. His insider tips about hidden gems and activities off the beaten path gave us an unforgettable, authentic Seychelles experience - things never found in any guidebook. We also appreciated his thoughtful gesture of surprising us with a complimentary room upgrade, which made our honeymoon even more special! The entire team is simply outstanding: Greta, Fe, and Herbert provided the most friendly and warm hospitality we’ve ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, it felt like being part of a family. They took wonderful care of the breakfast service that left us wishing for nothing more. The cleanliness and care of the rooms went far beyond spotless - every time we left for more than two hours, it was perfectly tidied, bed made, air conditioning turned on - every detail managed to ensure our comfort. We were especially delighted when the staff prepared breadfruit and other fruits we had gathered ourselves - such a thoughtful, personal touch that made our experience truly unique. We’re already looking forward to returning, not only to reunite with these wonderful people but also becas the saying goes, anyone who tastes breadfruit will return. We´ll be back!

Great host / owner Nicholas. Very helpful and friendly. Had coffee, water and bread for us waiting when we arrived in the early morning. Great view from the big balcony. Good place to relax! Spacious.

Our family had the most wonderful stay! The location is absolutely perfect, with a stunning view of the beach that we enjoyed every morning. The staff were all incredibly helpful, kind, and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our suite was very spacious and spotlessly clean, which was great with two kids. The breakfast was a definite highlight—delicious with a huge variety of options. We also had dinner at Avocet, and it was more than delicious, especially the local seafood. A huge compliment to everyone from the front desk, managers, restaurant chefs, and bartenders—thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Nothing, we did not stay there. The staff did not even know that they had a booking for us. There was a party the night before and the whole place was dirty. Staff did not even have shoes on when we arrived and in pyjamas. This is unacceptable. I would like a refund for exceptionally poor service!
