You can tell this is an older hotel, but it’s been well taken care of and you can actually park your car I front of your room, which makes for a quick unpack and pack. The shower is nice and hot water is just right. The desk area is big enough for my laptop and coffee cup (which they offer coffee in the lobby). There is a dollar general next door that can provide you with just about all your needs and has a big cat that walks around and meows at your like it’s never had food before in its whole life (13 years and counting). The fact that she’s almost as round as long makes me think she’s not being truthful.

Very clean, very accommodating for extending my stay, very close to Highway and the casino Mohegan, not too bad of a ride at all.

Nick made us feel very much at home and I have to say have never stayed in accommodation with so many generous offerings. Nick made sure the fridge was filled with a complimentary selection of drinks/juice/chocolates, fresh bread as well as cooking us breakfast each morning. He also instructed my husband to feed me chocolates while I soaked in the lovely claw bath indulging in a selection of bath bombs and bubble bath - What more does a girl need. The peaceful location, cozy fire and lovely little deck overlooking the pond was beautiful even on a rainy day. The geese that arrived/departed at regular intervals was a lovely addition as well.
