We stayed at Bujtina Terthorja before and after our Peaks of the Balkan trek and I highly recommend. It was like coming back home after the hike :) The host is really friendly and helped us organize our return to Tirana by bus. Good food, spacious rooms with comfortable bed and a nice outdoor space to relax. There are places in Theth with more facilities but all the basics are there and we liked the family feel of this one.

Amazing stay, location is gorgeous and hosts very welcoming. In fact, we got lost on our way there and the host called us at 1:30am to check we were ok! The property is a short drive from the ferry.

Breeze of the Drin Guesthouse Camping has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Vau i Dejës. We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house

Staying at this place was the best decision we could have made. It keeps the most authentic spirit of the area while combining it with very comfortable accommodation and outstanding food. The view is unbeatable. Surrounded by flowers, animals, and mountains, simply sitting in the yard to admire the landscape or the stars is already an experience in itself. I wish I could have stayed one more night to keep enjoying this unique place.

There was great communication from the host. She even recommended a guide for paddle boarding for us. The apartment was very clean and had all amenities as advertised.
