Set in Salta, 600 metres from Salta Town Hall and 700 metres from 9 de Julio Park, ALVARADO CENTRAL apartment offers air conditioning. Marcela and Julio provided me all the help I could have asked for. They catered for my requests, including letting me leave my suitcase in their care for a couple of days (not something one should expect for accommodation of this type). Both provided me recommendations for restaurants and activities. Julio even gave me a quick tour of the plaza as he dropped me off at the accommodation after picking me up at the airport (pickup is a paid extra). They do not comfortably speak English, but we made good use of technology to communicate.

Casa de CAMPO HUAKA HUASY is situated in Cachí and offers a garden and a terrace. This holiday home features free private parking, bicycle parking and free WiFi. I'm glad I was there on a clear night; it's a place you can see all the stars from. This is a very spacious and well-appointed cottage in a super-serene location. Woke up to probably the best Andes vista I found during my time in Salta. It's a very cute getaway with a lot of character, sheep and dogs on the property, and the hosts were friendly, flexible and accommodating. Wish I stayed longer.
