Situated in Pokolbin, 4.9 km from Hunter Valley Gardens, The Lane Retreat features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. It was so quiet with wonderful views. We choose to be over the lake. The room was large and you had a veranda so you could watch the wildlife and there was a lot of that.

It was so peaceful and calm - just what we needed. My daughter said it is her favourite place to stay. Shanae was very kind and accommodating. The wine, cheese and croissants were yummy. We woke up with kangaroos right outside our door and plenty of unique birds.

Featuring accommodation with a pool with a view, mountain view and a balcony, Strathearn Park Lodge is located in Scone. The property and room were just beautiful. Can watch TV from the spa bath! It was more like a self contained apartment. Everything we needed was there, and we slept very well. Beautifully appointed, and lots of horses and kangaroos around the property. Breakfast was continental, and was enough for our needs. Many choices of home made preserves, breads, and cereals. Gail was very friendly and accomodating, and any requests were fulfilled.
