What I really like, and a BIG example for everyone, that there is almost NO plastic. They sell you a reusable water bottle and you can use free drinking water all day! And no plastic straws.

The place is so beautiful and made with so much love:) The flat is cozy and very well-equipped. It’s so comfortable to stay there! You have all the utensils to cook, the bed was very comfortable, the place is very well ventilated and has air conditioning as well:) The shower is also great. The outdoor space is just the best environment to relax surrounded by bananas and other lovely trees and flowers! We also loved the location- very close to a calm beach, and a few minutes away there are big markets for your groceries:) I just wish we could have stayed longer and hope to come back soon! We loved everything about it!

This pousada is very clean and simple, and an excellent value. Our room was like a small apartment, it had all the conveniences. Our host brought a delicious breakfast to our room, we were very happy with it. The swimming pool is clean and refreshing after being at the beach all day. There are several good restaurants nearby. The town of Sao Miguel is modest but it has a world-class beach. I recommend this pousada to all travelers. The owner is very kind, friendly and helpful.

It's so good to see someone create the best version of what a place could be and then be invited to treat it like home.
