I came as a solo female traveler and had a great time! The hosts were super helpful for arranging my transport, food, and different activities. It was great to learn about the local plants and animals and culture and get immersed in the experience. There are also several nice beaches nearby. Everything was perfect, I can't recommend the visit enough!

Set in Soure and within 2.3 km of Garrote Beach, Morada da Ilha Pousada features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The inn has family rooms. It was great for a very low price. The room was super big and renovated, the beds were really comfy, the breakfast tasty and the staff really helpful. I would happily go back!

Carlo is simply amazing, the rooms tastefully decorated and have everything you need, the whole establishment is a piece of art in its design, breakfast is super tasty and with fresh healthy ingredients. We could have easily stayed one more week. Highly recommended.

Set in Alter do Chao, less than 1 km from Alter do Chao Beach, Casa da Vila - Hospedaria - 3 min do centrinho de Alter offers rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. Amazing stay in Alter do Chao. The owners were especially kind and helpful, going above and beyond to help with tours, transfers, laundry, etc. Breakfast was tasty and homemade. The pets were a nice bonus.

Everything was perfect, except the food, which was too expansive and thé test not that great. Where is the coxinha. The breakfast was quite something, relay appreciate the price and the service. The personnel was Nice and effective. Microwave popcorn 10reais is too much.
