The Chez Max Pousada was a perfect place to enjoy a few days in Morro de Sao Paulo. The location on the Third Beach is great as you are close to the calm Forth and Fifth Beach and also to the vivid First and Second Beach. The staff was exceptionally nice and the whole area was clean and cozy. Breakfast was very tasty and as they always offer something different you do not eat the same thing every day. I recommend this place 100%.

Just 100 metres from the sea in Porto de Cima Beach, this charming guest house is surrounded by native forest. It offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. Breakfast and free Wi-Fi are available. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, surrounded by an exuberant greenery. Delicious breakfast, with local food and juices. Also, during the evening, the restaurant works as a pub, with excellent music and beer. But the best part was the staff. Adrian (the owner) and his family are adorable. We spent a great time talking about the island and life in general. I strongly recommend it to everyone.
