The list goes on and on, it was my wife’s favorite hotel that she’s ever stayed in and that says a lot because we travel more than 50% of the year.

He helped book all of our tours and made sure that everything was as it should be with the home. He picked us up at the airport and drove us back with a stop at the ziplines on the way back to Belize City. His home is very nice and located about 2 miles outside of downtown San Ignacio, so it's an easy trip into town for dinner.

Offering a garden and lake view, Alma Del Rio Eco-Comfort on the water is situated in San Ignacio, 6.1 km from Cahal Pech and 21 km from El Pilar. This property was INCREDIBLE. Beautiful views and SO much to do!! The host were amazing and friendly! They helped us set up rides/taxis between destinations. All our needs were met promptly and our stay was 11/10. We will be coming back and staying in the new villas that the hosts are building. 1000000% recommend.

Located in San Ignacio and only 5.8 km from Cahal Pech, Villa Massis Luxury Villas provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely loved our stay - this is a slice of paradise! Larry and Melanie were some of the best hosts we’ve ever had, they’re proud of the Belizean culture and history and we learnt so much from Larry while eating Melanie’s amazing meals. We basically stayed on site for the 3 nights we were there. We booked our tours through Larry and had the best tour guides Francis and Dan! Both so knowledgeable and caring. Definitely make sure eat at least once at this place, it was great! The place: We stayed in the biggest one bedroom unit. Beds are great quality, super comfortable and sturdy. The bathroom was really big which had a beautiful shower with a wee jungle view. While the pressure is a little low, it had a big enough shower head that we didn’t mind at all. Hot water everyday! The bath was amazing after a long day of walking. A big balcony with a hammock that overlooks the pool was a delight especially when it was raining. Beautiful walk down to the river where we saw toucans flying around. Saw a howler monkey for dinner and a gibnut lounging at the back of the property. Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Family Suite @ Mahogany Hall is situated in San Ignacio. With river views, this accommodation features a patio. Exceptional staff. They bent over backwards to accommodate anything we needed. Breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. A/C worked great.

Just a 5-minute drive from the Cahal Pech Mayan Ruins, San Ignacio Resort Hotel offers an outdoor pool, an spa and fantastic jungle views. The Green Iguana Conservation Project is based on site. Very nice and charming hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Both bar and restaurant are very good. The bed was really comfortable, which is important to me. The location is awesome, really strategic for trips to Xunantunich, Caracol, and the Green Hills Butterfly Reserve, all of which I would highly recommend visiting while there. The Green Iguana Conservation Project is right on site, likewise highly recommended.

Located within 1.6 km of Cahal Pech and 17 km of El Pilar, Arnold's Guest House provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in San Ignacio. Appreciate the staff so so much! They helped us book the ATM tour at a good price. Also helped to keep our clothes when it rained too heavily. Breakfast was great too.
