I Maya Beach, et steinkast fra Maya-stranden, ligger Kalimera Beach Hotel, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, et privat strandområde og en terrasse. Absolutely the best boutique hotel we stayed at in Belize! Everything at Kalimera Beach is so thoughtfully designed — from the moment we arrived, we felt more like family than guests. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and their attention to detail makes the stay unforgettable. You get ice for your drinks or to make a refreshing iced coffee (which became our daily ritual). There’s a water tap in front of each room to rinse the sand off your feet before going inside — a small but brilliant touch. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into everything here. There are hammocks, a beach gym, paddleboards, kayaks, and games — it’s literally impossible to get bored. The absolute highlight? Sipping an iced coffee while relaxing in a hammock right by the beach, watching the waves roll in. Sometimes you even get a fresh coconut! They also organized an incredible tour for us to Laughing Bird Caye — it was breathtaking, and we even saw a shark! We truly loved every second of our stay. Kalimera Beach is a place you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like part of the family. Can’t recommend it enough!

Alux House ligger i Placencia, 2 minutters gange fra Placencia-stranden, og har et utendørsbasseng, røykfrie rom og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. Alux is close to the sidewalk so very easy to get around the island, beautiful property that is well maintained as well! The A/C is ice cold!!

Welcoming drinks and a small cottage. After backpacking Guatamala this is heaven Steps from the beach.. Booked an extra day. Little pricey for MY budget , but great value.. Literally 6 ft to the Caribbean

Simberts Apartments ligger i Maya Beach i Stann Creek, med Maya-stranden bare 3 minutters gange unna. Dette overnattingsstedet har gratis WiFi, grillutstyr, en hage og gratis privat parkering. The best thing about the property was the privacy and the lovely garden location! You could be entirely independent and cook your own food using the fully equipped kitchen, or you could head out to nearby restaurants. You could also relax outside in the peaceful garden area and watch the wildlife. I would especially recommend this property for those who are remote working or need some peace during their holiday or trip.

Umaya Resort & Adventures is located on the beachfront in Maya Beach, just a 20-minute drive from Placencia. The staff was very helpful, helped to arranged taxi where needed, and also arranged a free shuttle from the airport and to the marina.

Kin Resort Lodge ligger i Maya Beach i Stann Creek, med Seine Bight-stranden bare 0 minutters gange unna. Olivia and Fabio were fabulous hosts for my three-night visit to their K’in Resort Lodge. In fact, the stay was my most positive experience of the nine nights on my trip to Central America. I hadn’t been to Belize before, and didn’t know what to expect in renting a bungalow on the Placencia Peninsula. What I found and got was a spotlessly clean room and bathroom, a wonderful bed, great pillows, modern air conditioning, a terrific shower with hot water I didn’t need to wait for, fast WiFi, a nice ceiling fan, mood lighting, a secure entrance and outside seating area, and even a refrigerator with a pitcher of cold water and a bottle of beer within. On each of the three mornings, Olivia brought me a frothy cappuccino, fresh-squeezed passion fruit juice, and a breakfast treat, also and gave me some company to make me feel at home. The last evening, we actually all shared a dinner, beer, wine, and rum together on one of their outside pavillions— just like we were family members breaking bread as a group. In all, I not only had a good rental adventure, but also made new friends, even getting to meet all three of their beautiful children. They even offered to drop me off at the Placencia Airport when it looked like my arranged ride might not materialize. If you like nature, want comfort, are up for meeting the people who run the establishment, AND don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it, this is your place!

Facing the beachfront in Placencia Village, Itz'ana Resort & Residences has a bar and a garden. A blend of modern facilities with Colonial and Caribbean vibes, which make the place really beautiful. The rooms are spacious with a great terrace (ours overlooked the pool). The infinity pool is stunning, surrounded by palm trees and gardens with birds, gibnuts and iguanas roaming free. The beach area is great too. The whole place is quiet too which felt like we had the place just for us. Food was good, although it could have been better (see below).
