Stunning place — beautiful design, perfect functionality, and super easy self check-in. Arrived at 11:00 expecting luggage storage and was surprised with an early room, plus free public transport and city discounts — above and beyond. Amazing location, amazing room, amazing vibe (industrial lovers will fall in love).

The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable with simplicity. The staff was top notch. You can not beat the location.

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff were very friendly. Thank you for the welcome drink.

Beautiful spacious apartment in the centre of basel. Close to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also very close to some of the main view points and attractions. Apartment was a good size for a couple would likely be a bit of a squish for 4 people however. Kitchen was well equipped, bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower. Bed was reasonably comfortable although very firm. All things you could need such as iron, airer, TV, cleaning products etc. Check in was easy, collection of keys from a key box outside the apartment and a spare set of keys on the inside.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay at Les Trois Rois. Our room had several windows with a beautiful view of the Rhine River, which made the experience even more special. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and full of history, and the changing flower arrangements at the entrance were a lovely surprise, offering a different visual experience each day. The bar was outstanding, with a live pianist and a fantastic repertoire, creating a truly elegant atmosphere. Despite being one of the oldest hotels in Europe, the comfort and technology are exceptional — heated bathroom floors, automatic curtains, and even a TV that can be controlled from the bathtub. An extremely pleasant, elegant and unforgettable stay. Highly recommended.
