The apartment was clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and had everything we needed and was in a lovely neighbourhood near the lake- which was amazing - and also had good access to the main town. Dominique showed us a place to leave our bikes safely which was also really helpful.

Located in the city centre next to the small Suze canal and the pedestrianised shopping zone, the Mercure Biel hotel is easily reachable on foot from the main station. The hotel felt new and was very clean. The staff at both check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The attendant at check-in let me know that parking in the street was free and where to go. The free breakfast was the best one on my 10-day trip (just stayed here 1 night). My favorite part was when I returned the electrical adapter (as I had left mine at home), I asked if the hotel sold them since it designed for all European and US/AUS connections and the attendant let me have it free of charge. That alone made me a customer of Mercure in the future.
