Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Very clean and easy to get to downtown via bus just outside hotel with free pass during your stay. Restaurant is amazing - pricey but excellent quality. Breakfast amazing also.

I really enjoyed that the property was very clean, and quite. Breakfast was really good and the views/ neighbourhood where is located the property are so beautiful and calm. Housed in a former Guild Hall, the Hotel des Balances enjoys a picturesque location on the Reuss river in the heart of Old Lucerne. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Hotel has the nicest view, very clean and team was responsive of my questions.
