Everything about the Waldhotel was exceptional. The facilities are modern, peaceful, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. The staff were truly outstanding—friendly, helpful, and always going above and beyond to make the stay memorable. Their professionalism and kindness made the experience even more special.

Located 400 metres above Lake Lucerne, these spacious apartments feature a balcony with panoramic views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. The centre of Emmetten is 500 metres away. Monika and Pietro are very diligent in their care for the customer. View was awe inspiring for this Kansas native. Perfect for skiing since the lift is nearby.

Located in Stans’ village square, Hotel Engel provides modern rooms with contemporary furniture and a minimalistic design. The café bar offers a terrace overlooking the square. Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel and rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, and great central location.

Rising high on Mount Bürgenstock, this early 1900s villa offers luxurious rooms with balconies and a heated infinity pool overlooking Lake Lucerne. Swimming pool with incredible view.

Located in Beckenried at Lake Lucerne, Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel offers rooms of unique charm in a historic building dating back to 1820. WiFi access is free of charge. This was such a beautiful surprise. Haven’t enjoyed staying at a hotel in a loooong time. The ladies who run the place are super warm and welcoming. They host all guests for an Apero in the evening (maybe was a Xmas thing, but I loved it a lot) the room is spacious, clean, warm, nicely furnished, has coffee and tea facilities and a minibar. Comfy bed and a couch to lounge on. The dinner at the hotel was spectacular. Very meticulously curated 3 course dinner and the lady chef put all her love and creativity into the dishes. One massive plus: they arranged a welcome corner for my dog with a bed and two bowls.

Free on-site parking. The hosts were nice and accommodated for our late arrival.
