The pools (yes, plural!) are an oasis of relaxation, and floating in the cool water while surrounded by endless desert landscapes is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. No distractions, just peace, tranquility, and the magic of the desert. The attention to detail, from the pristine cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, speaks volumes about the love and care Lucila and her family pour into this place. The kind attention l got from Mrs Patricia, she is very nice explaining the property, l got the apartment l was expecting, love the views from the mountains, has lots of natural light and no mosquitoes going into the apartment, has additional rooms and beds that can accommodate more people, like the kitchen and the main room was spacious. In general l like it a lot. It’s a new apartment complex with private security it made you feel safer in. In general great attention and service from everyone there.

Właścicielka to bardzo otwarta osoba, która zaopiekowała się nami od samego początku. Robiła nam pyszne śniadania z lokalną organiczną kawą. Gdy wyjeżdżaliśmy wcześnie rano specjalnie wstała by przygotować nam jedzenie na 4.30. Była przemiła! Zrobiła nam też pranie w dobrej cenie i przyniosła owoce z ogrodu. Sam domek jest poza miastem, w cichej i zielonej okolicy. Świetnie tam wypoczęliśmy. Dosłownie 50 metrów obok jest zniewalający widok na kanion rzeki Magdaleny. Przepiękne miejsce. Chętnie kiedyś wrócimy.

The staff were helpful in everything - they helped me arrange the tour for the Tatacoa, and even a return bus to Neiva when I left Villavieja. Value for money amazing, very comfortable bed and my own bathroom. The traditional breakfast was delicious and large, and water, lemonade and coffee always available. A genuine experience

It was really cool to be out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The hotel is very rustic and located on a functioning ranch with cows and horses and everything. It is also walking distance from the two grey desert hiking trails. The owner was really friendly and fun to chat with as well as helpful with anything we needed. The food was also some of the best hotel food we’ve had.

Only problem is the noise coming from the water pump that is interrupting the silence of the place which can be problematic with people with more sensitive sleep
