It was farther away from Arenal than I expected, which at first was disapointing; however, there are beautiful hikes are areas all around here that are stunning and almost empty. Excellent, comfortable facility with good food and wonderful staff.

The chalet looks just like the pictures and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed watching the birds that came down to eat the bannanas growing next to the chalet and had some incredible sightings of toucans. Although out of town it was easy to get around.

Location was great, close to downtown but in a quiet area. Maikol and Grace went above and beyond to help me plan my stay in Costa Rica. Maikol arranged transport from the airport and to my next destination. My dog was safe and had a friend to play with. Grace showed me some walks and let me practice my Spanish with her. The bed was comfy and I used the washer and drier. The kitchen is well equipped, it even has a kettle for tea.

The Nirvana Hostal was the perfect oasis for me before my departure and Kenneth was a super friendly host. He also offered me the chance to stay for the day as my flight wasn't until the evening. So I was able to rest and relax. I had dinner nearby in the evening and breakfast at a soda. Both on Kenneth's good recommendation. The apartment also had its own small kitchen with coffee and tea included. I have already made a reservation, will be back and am happy to recommend Nirvana Apartement to others.
