The location of this lodge is really nice, close to the beach and restaurants. Both rooms (we had one of the houses in main pictures, and one in the larger white building) were very nice, large, clean and very nice atmosphere. Receptionist Griselda was super! She adviced on a good restaurant for Christmas dinners and booked for us. She was always there for any question or help needed, with a smile! Breakfast was very nice, and the person serving (not sure of his name) was always friendly. Great to see so the animals and birds in the garden of the lodge. I include pictures of our 2 pool friends. The jaguar rescue center next to this hotel lodge is also a must-visit (really nice).

Mecca está ubicado en Puerto Viejo, a 8 minutos a pie de Playa Negra, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, estacionamiento privado gratis, una pileta al aire libre y un jardín. I felt right at home at Mecca and 10/10 recommend to all. I stayed about a week and felt I had the perfect balance of peaceful time to myself lounging by the pool or petting the dogs in the common area and social time, chatting with the owner Kim and her family who were visiting and were kind enough to extend invites to share time with them. Outside of my time spent in Mecca, I also liked that there were bikes I could take to explore and we were close to a restaurant with a nice beach view, live music and a bar. Plus, Kim gave recommendations of where to eat, what to do in the area and how to get around. Plus since I overlapped with Thanksgiving, I got to be a part of a black expat Friendsgiving and family festivities which was very nice as a solo traveler.

The peaceful property with a resident sloth and birds, wonderful meals on the grounds, and super nice hosts who made you feel comfortably taken care of. Also enjoyed a lovely private boat tour provided by Primo's brother in-law.

Alto Luciérnaga queda aproximadamente a 48 km de Estadio Ebal Rodríguez y ofrece alojamiento con vista a la montaña, una terraza y balcón. Excelente la cabaña todo bien equipada limpieza excelente la vista fue de lo mejor tanto de día como de noche es un lugar muy acogedor cumplió mis expectativas relajar y descansar a un buen precio

I was welcomed by the friendly daughter Anelka of the owner . 2 rooms and one living room kitchen. All very clean and modern. In each room one double and one single bed very comfortable, air condition, ventilator. The bathroom is large. Hot shower. Toiletries. Large modern kitchen well equipped with induction hob, microwave, coffee filter machine and a lot of plates, glasses . One sofa in the living room. TV. Strong Wifi . They answer quickly to WhatsApp messages. The owner leaves next door. They largely deserve 10.
