Opulent, incredible, lavish, amazing. Most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. Incredible mountain views combined with amazing staff and a perfectly designed and maintained hotel. Indoor and heated outdoor pools were very enjoyable. Nice gym to burn off the great food. Breakfast was delicious. To order eggs and an amazing selection of everything else. Located in Obersalzberg below the Kehlsteinhaus (Eagles Nest) this incredible hotel gives you easy access to Berchtesgaden's many attractions. Easy walk to the bus boarding area for the Eagles Nest. Buy your tickets on-line in advance. Open mid-May to mid-October. Documentation Museum (History of the Nazi leadership in this area and atrocities) is located on the backside of the vehicle parking area for the Eagles Nest bus tour and is open year around. Visit the salt mine and take the fun tour and make sure you drive to the Konigssee and take the boat tour and enjoy some hiking. If you are a true adventurer you can walk to the Kehlsteinhaus from the hotel. They will give you a map. All trails so no bus conflict. Very well marked with sign posts. Said four hours but I did it in one and a half. You don't need to take the elevator to the Eagles Nest at the bus turn around area. Walk down the road 200-300 meters and a trail takes you to the top.

Set amid the wonderful Alpine landscapes of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, this traditional 4-star hotel offers elegant rooms and excellent spa facilities. Breakfast was very good apart from the having to wait for coffee and at times only served by the cup and not a "Kannchen"

Situated in the Bavarian Alps, this family-run hotel offers elegant accommodation, an inviting spa area and panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings. Berchtesgaden centre lies 1.5 km away. Breakfast is included and it's absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and treat you like family. Although we didn't utilize this service, they provide you with bus passes to get around town in - which is a nice perk! They have a handful of different types of saunas which were super relaxing to go around and rotate in. The pool is clean and great to cool off in after the saunas.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Fantastic place. The owner is so warm while we checked in. Will definitely recommend this place

Set within Berchtesgaden National Park, at the foot of Watzmann Mountain, Berghotel Rehlegg offers traditional Bavarian accommodation. Everything was exceptional — the room was beautiful and perfectly styled, the location was stunning, surrounded by peaceful mountain scenery, and the breakfast was truly outstanding. The staff were warm, professional, and made me feel completely at home.

Objekt Alpenhof Wallgau smješten je u gradu 'Wallgau', na 17 km od znamenitosti Institut Richarda Straussa te 17 km od znamenitosti Gradska vijećnica Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Excellent clean, comfortable apartment. Had full kitchen facilities and very comfortable bed. Friendly helpful host.

Excellent!! Everything was spectacular and brand new! Spacious bed and bathrooms, fully stocked and brand new kitchen, you’d be foolish to not stay here. Owner Johannes was absolutely amazing! So kind and generous with providing gluten free products, food, and drinks for us on our long journey.
