A recently renovated aparthotel in Merzig and within 43 km of Trier Theatre, Saar-Apartments has a garden, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi. Peter was fantastic and even offered to get us from the train station after a very frustrating travel day! The apartment is in a great location, it’s so clean, modern and overall fantastic. Also, the fan made the heat bearable and gave us a good nights sleep!

The staff were all super nice! We had an early flight and check out starts at 8am, she let us pay early and told us to just leave our cards inside the room. She also prepared food for our drive to the airport and delivered it to us the evening before. It was great since we had to wake up at 4:30am. The breakfast was delicious, I miss it so much! The location was perfect from the gas station cornee store, restaurants, and downtown Idar-Oberstein as well as a 6 min drive or 25 min walk to the castle. Will definitely return to this hotel. Ps. For 3 euros per load, they also do laundry, which saved us big time, we stayed 8 days & and nights, so it was a huge help!

Location was very close to the Musel which was amazing to see. Everything was clean and nicely kept in order. I will recommend!

The property was spotless and very comfortable. The living room was large as was the bathroom and all the bedrooms were a comfortable size. Our hosts were wonderful. We opted to go out for coffee each more even though options were available because there was a nice bakery nearby. Numerous restaurants were all a very short walking distance.
