As the name suggests, The accomodation is located in a very convenient central part of the city. Many fairly priced restaurants around, and if you want to splurge, there are some upper-market cafes a short walking distance also. And as a cherry on the cake, there are some great views of a nearby, frequently erupting volcano Rosa, the host, goes above and beyond making sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and are armed with enough knowledge to get the most out of her city. I originally stayed here as a stop over town to break up my travels. But ended up staying a little longer because I enjoyed it so much.

I Papallacta ligger Mamallacta Páramo Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, en barneklubb, terrasse og lekeplass. Boenhetene har utsikt over fjellet. More than the pics online can say, Mamallacta is filled with tons of details that make the difference! This is far from being "just a hotel"!. You see the care of his owner, Jonathan, for his place. The hotel is perfectly located to go enjoy the thermal pools (5min walk away). Jonathan also shared information on the current situation in Ecuador so the whole experience was just wonderful. One of the best dinners I had in Ecuador and... artesanal beers! BRAVO!

I stayed at Greatest Hostels Amazon for about a week and feel so grateful I found this little jungle gem. Javier and Maria are some of the kindest, most welcoming hosts — incredibly helpful, warm and just genuinely good humans. They made me feel at home from the first moment. The location is perfect: surrounded by lush nature and total calm, yet only about 30 minutes from Puyo by bus or taxi. Falling asleep to jungle sounds and waking up to birds, butterflies and sunlight through the trees was pure magic. The property has beautiful walking paths, flowers everywhere and so many peaceful spots to sit and just be. The dorm is light, spacious and very clean, with lovely art and cozy areas to relax or socialise if you feel like it. Hot showers, great WiFi, and a delicious breakfast with homemade bread every morning. I could also use the kitchen and ended up sharing meals and laughs with new friends — it really felt like a little community. You can easily walk to nearby indigenous communities, waterfalls, a cacao farm and a mirador, or rent bikes to explore more. They also offer guided tours — ask for Maria, her knowledge about nature and plant medicine is incredbile and so inspiring. Also completely fell in love with their sweet dog and kitty. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and recharge while still being close enough to the action. Honestly didn’t want to leave and would come back any time. Such a special place.

Hotel Platinum Class ligger i Nueva Loja og har en fellesstue i tillegg til en terrasse og en bar. Overnattingsstedet har en restaurant og en hage i tillegg til badstue og boblebad. Large clean rooms, lovely staff, parking, good wifi, excellent value for money.

Hostal Limoncocha har gratis WiFi og ligger i Tena. Du kan benytte deg av hagen og terassen. Very close to the bus station. Staff is very helpful, especially Roy. Very professional too.

El Colibrí tilbyr overnatting i Puyo. På El Colibrí har alle rommene balkong. I tillegg til et eget bad som er utstyrt med dusj og gratis badeprodukter, har rommene på overnattingsstedet gratis WiFi.

Ecopark Hosteria Puyo ligger i Puyo og har en bar. Dette 3-stjerners hotellet har en hage i tillegg til rom med klimaanlegg og eget bad. The staff and food where amazing , could not have asked for more

Nær stranden i El Chaco ligger det 5-stjerners overnattingsstedet Rio Quijos EcoLodge, som har en hage, privat strandområde og fellesstue. The location is very special. I long for the sound of the river and the birds! The staff is exceptional. They were helpful, kind and knowledgeable. They helped us experience the birds in ways I would have not imagined.

Cabañas Papallacta en Finca Chucuri ligger i Papallacta. Denne hytta har grill og gratis privat parkering. Denne hytta består av 2 soverom, fullt utstyrt kjøkken og 1 bad. Julio as really sweet with check in and check out. The views are great and open fire was amazing. + Gas stove for cooking. Beds are also really comfortable. If you are looking for a traditional, rustic Ecuadorian experience then this is for you.
