Set in Chugchilán, Hostal Doña Clarita Inn features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

Cuscungo Cotopaxi Hostel & Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Chasqui. Everything! This lodge is the only place to stay if you’re coming to Cotopaxi. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. The meals were fantastic, the fire place is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the hot water is hot, the location is easy to get to via local buses from Quito, the day tour to Cotopaxi is great and affordable and the property is quiet. It ticks every box!

Llullu Llama Mountain Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Hacienda Provincia. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Probably one of the best places I have stayed during my trip in Ecuador and in South America in general. The professional yet personal service of the staff was top notch (and they spoke good English, which is not to take for granted in Latin America), the common areas were so nice and cozy and warm with a fireplace, I felt like I could stay longer if I had more time. They also run activities to see a cheese factory, an indigenous market, horseback riding and more. At some point I felt sick due to the altitude and they really took care of me which is rare.

Set in Chasqui, 49 km from Metropolitano del Sur Park, Rondador Cotopaxi offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. We had a lovely stay at Rondador Cotopaxi! The location is perfect for visiting the Parque Nacional Cotopaxi, as well as other small towns nearby. Fernando and the rest of the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Fernando gave us advice regarding activities to do, as well as organizing the logistics for a cabalgata the same day. The food was delicious! Very recommended!

Situated in Lasso, Hostería Hotel Cuello de Luna - Cotopaxi - Country Inn features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a restaurant. We had a great time at the lodge during a two-night stay. Adrien provided an abundance of information about the local culture and volcanos, and organized a day trip to Cotopaxi with a local guide. The lodge is also a fully functioning farm with pigs, llamas, goats, chickens, horses, and most endearing to us, dogs. Anouk was always waiting for us in the doorway to throw the latest piece of wood she had found. The bed we slept in was very comfortable with a heated blanket and an additional heater in the room. There was a firepit in our room that we regrettably didn't end up using, but it's there for those who enjoy fireside relaxation. Adrien prepared breakfast and dinner each day for us, all of which were filling and delicious.

Situated in Hacienda El Recreo, Bachita's apartment features accommodation with access to a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. I cooked breakfast myself so it was good. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, internet is pretty fast.

The location is peaceful & near the national park and walking distance from the highway to Quito .. it’s family style hostal where they welcoming me & accommodate my needs. They also offer tours to Cotopaxi

A recently renovated campground situated in Latacunga, La Cabaña de Ciela C glamping con jacuzzi, minigolf y croquet features a garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. The house was very comfortable, and the hosts were very thoughtful. They gave great instructions on how to locate the property. They delivered breakfast the following morning, and it was delicious.
