If you have a couple of hours, please rent an Uber and make a trip to the cathedral, city hall, iguana park, malecon and las penas.

Unipark by Oro Verde Hotels is located beside Parque Seminario and within Unicentro Shopping Mall, opposite the Metropolitan Cathedral and just 3 blocks from Malecón 2000. The reception was excellent given our very late arrival. This standard continued. We had a very pleasant room of good size with a view.

FORTICH APART HOTEL bevindt zich in Guayaquil, op 19 minuten lopen van Iglesia San Francisco en 2,2 km van Malecón 2000. There were a couple of options for breakfast, location was good, close to what we needed. The private and common areas were clean.

We were even allowed to have a late check-out for free since our flight was late. There is also a fine gym and a small sauna. All in all very recommendable.
