A few steps from Puerto Lopez Beach, Café Madame is a recently renovated property set in Puerto López and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. What a wonderful staff. They helped us get book our activities, fed us wonderful food, and answered all of our questions. We had everything we needed right next to the beach. Quiet and clean. We hope to be back soon. Intiquilla Hotel is situated on the beachfront in Manta, a few steps from Santa Marianita Beach and 18 km from Manta Harbour. The facilities are new, the rooms are spacious and clean with great attention to detail. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and juice, it felt like we were really being taken care of. The staff, Naomi and Enrique were very personable, kind and ready to make our stay feel like home, Enrique prepared great coffee and Naomi made really good mojitos. This was a really great place to stay in a beach front property in Santa Marianita, Manabí. We had an amazing time, thank you Naomi and Enrique.

Located in Portoviejo, 38 km from Manta Harbour, Hotel Madrigal provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a bar. Nice and clean hotel, well-located and well-run. The owner went out of his way to serve me a coffee and a sandwich very early in the morning, as I was leaving well before breakfast. Would definitely return!

Set in Las Tunas, a few steps from Las Tunas Beach, Hermanos Perdidos Surf offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. There are alot of places to stay around the world, and most of them are in it for the money - but not this one. I had no real desire to go to Las Tunas, but after backpacking around Ecuador and Peru for a while, all of the favorite people I met on the road seemed to have the exact same recommendation: Go to Onda Hostel. So I texted the hostel owners on Whatsapp, where they proceeded to be somehow genuinely interested in answering my millions of questions over text before I arrived, arranging for transport, and even picking me up a massive guanabana just because I casually mentioned once I'd like to try it. The beds are comfortable, the A/C is cool, and the coffee is endless, but it's truly the people that make this place great. The owners are passionate about building a community and they instill that same stoke in their volunteers. If you're looking to stay in a place with some atmosphere, there is none greater in the Americas. I booked at this hostel for two days and stayed on for weeks, only leaving because I had to. To my new friends that I've made at Las Tunas - Thank you, and I'll be back soon!

We loved this place from the first moment! A beautiful location, just few minutes walk to the ocean shore. The whole property is clean and well kept. The property is surrounded with tropical vegetation and lots of beautiful flowers.
