Amar is the best host ever and one of the very few kind people I’ve met in Egypt. I felt so safe and comfortable at his place. As a solo traveller, this means a lot to be safe and worries free. All the staff at the hotel are very nice and friendly and made me feel welcoming all the time. Amar even drove me to the downtown by his car for exchanging money, buying train tickets and helped me book the tours at good price. Oh and the meals at the hotel are incredible. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price of accomodation and they served the best food ever, homemade meals in restaurant style. It tasted much better than the restaurant I had in town and meals were changed everyday. The hotel is extremely clean. It’s the most cleanest accommodation I’ve been to. I had to say I saw them clean the floor every 20mins. Very well organized and beautifully decorated with lots of vintage stuff. It’s a peaceful place indeed! The room & bed is also comfortable, I had a very good sleep. Highly highly recommended!!! Thank you very much Amar and the team ❤️ I’ll be back one day.

The owners and staff are genuinely friendly and kind and will go out of their way to help. The breakfast spread was huge, especially loved the local cheese, falafels and home made karkaday.

Very nice host everything as in the description, passport photos via whats-up were enough so we didn't have to carry them with us, he arranged transport from the nile area to the facility for a normal rate and the next day we had a taxi at our disposal on message at normal prices, breakfast was also included in the price. We were April 2-3, 2025. We sincerely recommend this facility no problems no surprises, the host very nice and friendly.

Spacious super clean room, beds with perfect mattrass, delicious breakfast on the roof, fast wifi, And very Nice host Mozes who will make everything possible to make you feel at home and help you to organise trips and transfer. The guesthouse is a traditionally built home with lovely little details and decorations everywhere, and palm furniture including the beds. The breakfast included is delicious, but make sure to stay for lunch or dinner — the roast duck and molokhiya are absolutely outstanding! Luxor’s restaurant scene isn’t amazing and we ended up eating dinner at Nour al Balad every night of our week-long stay. Abdullah and his team offer warm hospitality and can also help with transfers and taxis as needed. We have stayed there twice now and can’t wait to return!!
