A relaxed stay in the middle of our long trip in Egypt, and we managed to book the perfect place for it. The place was as in pictures, spotless and well cleaned. There is a nice veranda outside where we had our breakfasts. It's walking distance from the temple and high street with all the food outlets. Nice views all around! And the host Yahya took very good care of us including receiving, drop off and even light show tickets. Also he made a great breakfast every morning!

ABU Nubian Guest House está ubicado en Asuán, a 23 km de Mausoleo de Aga Khan, y ofrece un jardín, terraza y vista al jardín. Son personas increíbles, súper amables. La habitación estaba limpia y la comida estuvo muy rica. Abu es el anfitrión y está siempre preocupado por que todo esté bien. Cuando llegamos, nos recogieron en el lado este con su propio bote, nos dieron un refresco y agua de cortesía, pedimos papas fritas que no estaban en el menú e igual nos las hicieron por el mismo precio del platillo, pudimos lavar nuestra ropa sin ningún costo, nos llevaron a ver el atardecer cruzando al lado oeste, en la noche uno de los chicos del staff nos llevó a conocer la isla caminando y nos explicaba durante el recorrido y al siguiente día cuando nos íbamos como era tan temprano nos prepararon el desayuno para llevar. Todo lo hacen de manera que uno esté cómodo y lo lograron, son personas muy cálidas. Gracias Abu, Mohammed, Abdu y a los demás chicos del staff.

Staying on Elephantine Island was such a special experience, and Ahmed played a huge part in making it memorable. He helped me organize tours to Abu Simbel and other sites for the best possible price, always making sure I was getting fair local rates. What really stood out was his dedication, he even woke up at 4am to make sure the boat came to pick me up on time. That level of care is rare. I highly recommend staying on this side of the island. It’s much quieter and has beautiful views toward the Aswan Botanical Garden. Watching the sunset from the balcony overlooking the Nile River was a truly memorable moment for me. The room itself is simple, so don’t expect luxury. The bed isn’t the most comfortable, but I honestly didn’t mind because the lovely private balcony and the common viewing area over the Nile more than made up for it. The atmosphere felt peaceful and authentic. Ahmed also arranged a taxi pickup that included a boat transfer bringing me directly in front of the hotel. That seamless arrival alone was worth the money. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay with genuine local hospitality and someone who will go the extra mile for you, this is the place.

What a Gem in Aswan! When I booked Artika did not have a lot of expectations, only read the good reviews here. We were in for a surprise! This is probably the most amazing hotel ever! We got a free upgrade to a Nile Villa and if you can afford, make sure to book it. Your room will have a terrace directly at the Nile! People were all so incredibly friendly and shout out to Mahmood who took really good care of us whenever we wanted something to drink or dinner. We would have actually loved to stay at Artika for more than 2 nights. The room was really nice, stays cool during the day and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was simply perfect! On our last night the staff organized a romantic dinner with flowers, candle light, music and some Nubian dancing! Thank you to everyone at Artika for making our stay unforgettable! We will definitely recommend you to everyone travelling to Aswan!

The uniqueness of the style was really nice. Every thing was clean and in great working order. The manager was ever so helpful whenever we needed him. Our room included breakfast. One morning we visited Abu Simbel. The manager not only arranged the trip for us but made us a to go breakfast to take with us which was much appreciated!
