Situated in Navaconcejo, 30 km from Plaza Mayor, Encantos del Jerte Apartamentos features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. We had a wonderful stay at Encantos del Jerte. The place has it all. It is located in the center of the village next to the church and 1 min away from the river. It is recently renovated and has all the best construction materials and amenities, for example it has radiant floor heating! It is a beautiful sustainable gem in the heart of Navaconcejo. We also made use of the accessibility of the ground level apartment for my great grandma that is in a wheel chair. Felisa, the owner was very attentive before, during and after our stay and very understanding with our little kids’ needs. Navaconcejo is my mom’s hometown and I come back frequently and Encantos de Jerte will be my go to spot from now on!

14 km from Roman City of Ammaia in Casiñas Bajas, Apartamentos Rurales la Campiña provides accommodation with access to a hot tub and public bath. The apartment we stayed in was awesome. It is big, with two floors, a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a downstairs and upstairs bathroom and a very comfy double bed. The highlight of our stay was a spa bath which worked perfectly, with plenty of hot water thanks to a huge boiler. Everything was clean and worked well. The apartment looks modern and cosy. The aircon worked really well and was quiet. Overall, the flat was gorgeous and we would stay again. The outside area is also nice, with lots of barbecues and seating area. The private car park is big. It is also a very quiet area with nice countryside. Apart from an occasional car passing by, you can only hear the lovely sounds of the countryside: donkeys, chickens, sheep... Plus we were staying off-season and we alone 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed so it was extra quiet. It was a relaxing stay.

Gorgeous little self-contained unit in a beautiful old building. Extremely clean and accommodating. Basics, such as tea and salt, provided. WiFi was good.

Boasting mountain views, La Almazara Del Guijo features accommodation with balcony, around 13 km from Monasterio de Yuste. The property has garden and quiet street views. We felt very welcome and comfy. The breakfast was simple, but fair and if we needed anything else, sweet Paloma could provide. We had a 3 bedroom apartment. The room we choose had rather short beds, but luckily a 3rd room was available with a more suitable bed for my husband. We really enjoyed the village and surroundings. The hike that departs from the village is nice, but rather tough and stoney and only my son made it to the end... Carlos was very kind to show us around downstairs where there was a restaured olive mill and kind of museum.
