Despite the fact that it was very warm when we were there and there’s no air-conditioning, we were perfectly cool in our room and the host and hostess were fantastic. The meals were exceptional great value for money and an absolutely beautiful location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Romana, a country hotel in a remote, tiny village. The facilities were excellent - our room was very comfortable, with wonderful views of the countryside and the Cantabrian Mountains in the distance. It was a very peaceful, therapeutic stay.
