Set in a building dating from the 15th century, La Villa Mazarin is located in the fortified city of Aigues-Mortes. It offers a terrace and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Usually, I don't submit reviews on the second or third stay, but I will make an exception with the Villa Mazarin. The hotel is truely on of my all-time favorites. Everything is more welcoming an luxurious than you would expect. The rooms are very, very comfortable, the staff quite professional and friendly. And the pool and garden area a sootening oasis in the Camarque on a hot Summers day. It just makes you relax instantly and puts a smile on your face. I would never consider any other hotel in Aigues-Mortes.

You are very close (5 min walk) to Boucanet Beach which is very beautiful, golden sand, and relatively quiet. On the way to the beach is a small shop. Directly on the other side of the property is a nature reserve where you can make a nice walk, particularly once you cross the road that cuts through it. Le Espiguette is the star beach of the region in my view, there is a naturist part you may find attractive if you are into that. For good coffee and healthy food, I recommend Alma in La Grande Motte. The house is very comfortable, we particularly enjoyed the deck which has sliding doors on either side. The house has two bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom, toilet and living room downstairs, which is very handy if you and your company have different rythms. There is even a fence on top of the stairs, keeping your small kids safe.

The location is so peacful and just what you want in the Camargue. The host is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The croissants and bread in the morning are just wonderful. The bed is large and comfy. The kitchenette is great if you want to have meals at home. There is only a bath in the bathroom but there is a shower head over it, so we made it work. Aircon & fans help with heat and flies/mosquitoes. Great value!

Property is gorgeous, quiet, and spacious, with free parking. The room was huge with a soaker tub for two. The included breakfast was appreciated. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Set in Saintes-Marie- de-la-Mer, Hôtel du Pont Blanc sits in a flowery garden with terrace and swimming pool, just an 8-minute walk from the beach. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are provided. Wonderful family operated place. Comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast.

Lou Marquès is located in Les Saintes Maries De La Mer, in Camargue Regional Nature Park. It offers free WiFi and a sunny terrace and it is just 400 metres from the beaches. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, parking close-by (but it's better to arrive on a week day to have a chance to find a spot), very good location.
