Set in Clermont-Ferrand, 3.9 km from Blaise Pascal University, Grand Mess Clermont-Ferrand offers accommodation with a terrace, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We stayed at Hotel Grand Mess for 2 nights on either side of our road trip to Andorra in October 2025. The hotel is perfectly located, very convenient, and surrounded by loads of places to eat although most open in the evening. Our rooms were fab on both occasions, the breakfast was amazing, fresh and great quality, this felt like a proper french breakfast. The staff were great, we opted to park in the underground car park and paid 10 euro for each night but we could have also parked outside the hotel quite easily as there is ample space on the side too. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and possibly stay longer too. It was the perfect stop after a 10hr drive from Lichfield, England.

Located in front of Place de Jaude and 500 metres from the cathedral, this 24-hour reception hotel offers a bar, a terrace and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. I was in a business trip and it was a great experience to stay at Mercure. Exceptional breakfast, amazing crew and excellent installations. Looking forward for the next stay !

Close to highway, ideal to stay overnight on long trip. Room is clean, service is good and quick. Big plus is that you can park the car right in front of the door of the room. Simple but good breakfast starting early in the morning (around 7AM). The room was in a good temperature.

Set in Saint-Genest-Lerpt and only 7.1 km from Zénith de Saint-Etienne, Château Philip offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation features a sauna.... Everything fantastic. Super room, super hosts, super breakfast. Nice swimming pool, welcome drink.

Set in Saint-Angel and within 22 km of Neuvic d'Ussel Golf Course, Auberge du Prieuré has a terrace, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The auberge provides everything you need when travelling and the rooms etc have been recently constructed to a very good standard. Breakfast was not provided but croissants etc were obtained from a nearby patisserie to accompany coffee provided in the restaurant adjoining the auberge. Saint Angel was good for an evening stroll.

Featuring a garden, Maison Côté Halle "La chambre du Parc" offers accommodation in Saint-Flour, 45 km from Pas de Peyrol and 27 km from Casino Chaudes Aigues. A really excellent little room, comfortable and clean with lovely attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the old town. Annick was extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. The breakfast, partly homemade, was a lovely feature. It also made a big difference to have a private off-road car parking space. All in all, highly recommended.

Everything & Everyone - including the access to the communal kitchen with lovely plate ware you’d only find in the most lovely of restaurants, undoubtedly sourced from local artisans.

Set in Lezoux, 26 km from Zénith d'Auvergne, Château de Codignat offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Staff was very accommodating. Charming property.

Offering garden views, La Villa des Sources is an accommodation located in Langogne, 42 km from Pierre Cardinal Center and 42 km from Le Puy Cathedral. we had dinner there in with the other guests and pleasant conversation with fellow travellers and our host Roman. Fab area, to stay in and travel through.
