Cozy and clean place with a style. Nice small city worth taking a walk through. We spent just one night on the way through the country. Small detour to sleep here was very worth doing. Recommended!

Chalet de fred ligger i Saint-Ouen-de-Mimbré, 16 km fra golfbanen Alencon-en-Arconnay, 47 km fra Le Mans IUT og 48 km fra Le Mans High Court. Great location. Lovely little chalet. Fred was great and the dog very friendly. Greeted by lawn cutting robot on arrival and chickens on departure. Unfortunately it was a short stay as en route to ferry after a motorcycle tour. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer. A bit different, but in a very good way!

Served in the downstairs banquet room, just 8 seats as the hotel only has 4 bedrooms, and offered the best locally sourced fresh fruit, cheese, bread and pastries baked that morning. Coffee served in silver pots and a range of cereals, even porridge upon request. The food was excellent, the service second to none and the surroundings breath taking. Simply wonderful breakfast. Note - served between 8.20 and 9.20am and we were asked when in that hour we thought we'd likely attend!

It is amazing what you can fit into a small space. I liked the fact that the outside had not been totally modernized. It looked what it was and what it had been used for. It was an old shed. But the inside was modernized to a very high standard and had everything you could possibly want. The hosts were lovely people and the breakfast was more than we could manage.
